Mom's b-day

It's my dearly beloved mother's (Birthe) birthday today!
Happy birthday mom!
I've got the best parents in the world and I love them both very much!
I'll be in Denmark for a couple of weeks in October hanging out with my family, some friends and doing meetings. See you soon!

Cornerstone California

So, the reason why I'm in California is because of the Cornerstone festival here. Cornerstone is originally located in Illinois, but now there's 4 Cornerstone festivals in the USA. The one in California has it's debut after I've slept a couple of hours :)

My "job" is to be there and enjoying the festival by meeting and talking with people + be there with a helping hand at the Sanctuary Stage.

Friday bands:

Demon Hunter
Disciple
Tourniquet
Thousand Foot Crutch
Seventh Day Slumber
Ultimatum
Sanctuary Worship by my friends, Pastor Bob and Jim Laverde
+ a whole lot of other bands on the 5 stages!

Saturday will be even crazier with lots of awesome bands...

The "Emerald" family

I'm staying at this big house where two amazing families are living!
Three of the members from the Christian heavy metal band Emerald is living in this house with their families. Emerald started in 1978 as one of the very first Christian metal bands. They're all great loving people with a fire for the Lord. Today Kyle (Emerald drummer) and I went to Starbucks. Larry, who's the vocalist for Emerald, gave me an awesome gift today :O)
The pair of heavy metal boots that he wore at most of the Emerald concerts more than 20 years ago! They've got a great history!
Check out Emerald at myspace.com/emeraldafb
HEAVY METAAAL..!!!

Traveling to California

The day before yesterday Bob and I flew to Ontario, (South) California.
As you can see we spent our travel time very well acting like the tourists we are...
...and making napkin puzzles:
A beautiful four hour flight from Nashville, where I got time to try out the games on my new iPod (my first iPod actually).

Hanging out with Larry at the fair

I decided to stay in Knoxville for one extra day, helping out Larry with his work there and hang out at the fair. Here's Larry, (the guy who did the first Starbucks Confessional) and our new friend:
Larry's work is to put up tents with video games at different fairs. Her kids can play for free and have a good time.
We took some hours off to go see what was happening...
There's all kind of shows. Here's a reptile show which I indeed enjoyed! Brings back good memories from when I lived in Nepal (1992-95) and went I worked with reptiles at Randers Regnskov (Danish tropical zoo) for a year :P ...goat.

Mustang Convertible

Okay this is for you, Thomas:
This is how rental cars look in the States:
:P

Road trip

Taking a few days of (to work at the fair in Knoxville).
Jamie and I went for a few hour drive up north of Tennessee to the TN Fair in Knoxville. The fair is like the Danish Tivoli...but giant! Larry is working at the fair, so we helped him out driving a truck up there...and a Mustang Convertible rental car back home :P

The flat landscape changes a lot and the hills showed up:
These roads are just the coolest!
Next week I'll be in California (for Cornerstone California) and I promise you that I'll take a lot of pictures of cross over road bridges there :O)

Monday concerts at The Rutledge

The Monday concerts: Refuge At The Rutledge has now begun. Every Monday Nathan Lee will play with his band (pictured below) + Damien Horne. They are both great musicians with a cool heart for ministry and helping people.

Though it's not my favorite genre I really enjoy the passion in the music. Nathans band contents musicians from Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Carman and those folks. I've hung out with the guitar player, David, a couple of times and he's a great guy as well! He has been session musician his whole life, playing with Ozzy, Micheal Jackson and hundreds of other big musicians. He's building guitars for Bon Jovi and everybody and is helping me out with my guitars as well. An awesome dude, funny and easy to hang out with!

Starbucks Confessional

Here's a work in progress picture of the very first (of many!) radio programs / pod casts by the title: "Starbucks Confessional - with pastor bob".
It's a new series of awesome stories told be people them selves. The concept is that one new person, once a week, is telling about the hard life experience that draw him/her closer to God. The first one is up, and for free, at

www.sanctuaryinternational.com

Larry, whom I met at BobFest 2005, is telling a CRAZY story about his drug abuse and what it lead him to! You've just GOT TO listen to this one!!

My mornings :)

A typical morning picture, 3 seconds after WAKE UP!
I know no better alarm clock than Bryndan..! I'm sleeping in the studio upstairs at Jamie and Tricias house, which is great.

Bryndan is a very good climber! That I give him! :0)
In the morning, when it's about time, 2 year old Bryndan climbs the fence at the bottom of the stairs, sneaks up the stairs, approach his run-up and with a cool laughter and a "duuuuuUUUUUDE!!!" he's hanging in the air a few feet above me...and then...I'm pretty much awake!

No matter how tired I am, it's just impossible not to cheer up when he HITs me with his funny morning mood! :O) This morning I was so tired that I was only able to speak Danish to him, but he's always great fun!

See you tomorrow morning, Bryndan :)

Chinese foooood

I usually eat once a day at restaurants, and half the time it's Chinese! ...Most of the time it's actually VERY good :P . Here I'm at one, where the cook is making the food right in front of you. He was an octopus, man! Jumping around, cutting all kinds of weird vegetables with the speed of light, talking about rave parties and techno trance music and almost set a fire to himself when I wanted to take a picture! Wooooow dude..!
I was in great company with Bob and Marti, who's been working a lot in the music industry. One of her jobs was to travel around and give sponsored Gibson guitars away to the "stars"...

My new vehicle

Bob's sweet parents just got a new license one this old gansta, to help me getting around!

It's just the coolest car, man..! 1988!
...Don't ask me about the police car :O/

Refuge at the Rutledge

From tomorrow and every Monday ahead we're gonna make "Church" at this concert club The Rutledge! I'm looking forward to just hang out and talk with folks. There'll be two concerts + hangout time before, between and after the concerts.
Once in a while I hang out with Nathan. He's a great guy with a pure heart for Gods will to be done with his life (though he really reminds me of a mafia gangsta)!

Bob's place

Yeah, we've started working more at Bob's place. It's easier to work with radio stations and pod casts when you're not sitting at a coffee shop... Though we l-i-k-e the coffee shops :P
The view (of the two knights) from my side of the desk: At the moment I'm working on putting together a Christian underground extreme metal 24/7 internet radio station. That's a lot of fun. ...and a lot of work. I really like working on promoting bands in this kind of way + finding tons of new great brutal bands!

Oncle Bob

Tim's (Bob's brother) kids pay us a visit once in a while when we're working at Bob's place. Pastor Bob is a great uncle :)
Here's his youngest nephew:
+ his big brother and sister:
And øøøøø..... Hmmm... Yeah:

We've always got a fun time throwing "little people" around when we find some, hehe :O)

New guitar :)

Hey I just bought the smallest guitar in the world today!! :O)
I'll post some more pictures of the beauty weirdo and I some other day...

Name: Traveler, Ultra Light :)

Nashville

Hey I haven't posted much from Nashville City. I live 20 minutes outside of Nashville, but I in Nashville everyday to work on stuff + meeting people. Here's a picture of Nashville, traffic and the Batman Building in the background:
...and a building under construction. Who knows, maybe I'll move here in the future.
Most people live outside of downtown, so it's mostly buisness and music industry in downtown. ...Downtown would be a great place to live!

My favorite office

This is the view from my favorite office! JJ's Market is the name of a cool chilled coffee shop with free WiFi where Bob and I work a lot on our Macs. ..And they down freeze down the whole place to polar climate with air condition!

We've got our table :O) This is my view when I turn around:
This is the view to my left:
The bar, and behind it there's a market of beverage, snacks and magazines.

This is my view in front of me B-) :
Here we work on project and meet people!
